In 2017, there were safety issues in the Oghareki community due to the number of tank farms and oil reserves so the need for a police academy arose. Nepal Energies built a six blocks classroom police school to improve schooling in the Oghara Community.
In the bid to help achieve the sustainable development goal, Nepal Energies has granted scholarships for full-time undergraduate studies (for the total duration in school) reaching over 30 students from about 20 different states in Nigeria.
With the strike of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for organizations to step in and fill the shoes of curbing the spread of the disease became very paramount. Nepal took the initiative to collaborate with some other key oil and gas companies to build the first isolation center in Abia State. This affected the lives of a demographic of over 2.5 million people residing in that state. This particular action has not just helped in achieving SDG 3 (reduction and management of national and global health risk) but has also helped in achieving SDG 17 which is partnering to achieve a goal.
Since its inception in 2004, Nepal Energies has navigated the business of trading, supply, and production support in the down and mid-sub-sectors of the petroleum industry.
