Education

School for All Initiative (SAI)

In 2017, there were safety issues in the Oghareki community due to the number of tank farms and oil reserves so the need for a police academy arose. Nepal Oil and Gas built Six blocks classroom police school to improve schooling in the Oghara Community.

Dream Alive Initiative (DAI)

In the bid to help achieve sustainable development goal, Nepal Oil & Gas has granted scholarships for full-time undergraduate studies (for the total duration in school) reaching over 30 students from about 20 different states in Nigeria.

Fighting COVID-19 Pandemic

With the strike of the COVID 19 pandemic, the need for
organisations to step in and fill the shoes of curbing the spread
of the disease became very paramount. Nepal took the
initiative to collaborate with some other key oil and gas
industries to build the first isolation centre in Abia State. This
affected the lives of a demographic of over 2.5 million people
residing in that state. This particular action has not just helped in achieving SDG 3(reduction and management of national and global health risk) but has also helped
in achieving SDG 17 which is partnering to achieve a goal.
